Splashfest on the Lake June 14th

Premier Inflatables® and FunFlicks® Outdoor Movies announce the launch of Splashfest, June 14, at Windy Point Park on Lake Travis, in Austin, Texas. Splashfest is an all-day, family-friendly event, featuring wild fun on several giant inflatable water slides, rides and obstacle courses; live music, great food and an outdoor movie on the lake in the evening.
Falconhead to get apartments, not condos! - UPDATED

Our investigations have confirmed that the large multi storey building goings up near the entrance to Falconhead on 620 are not going to be condos, but apartments (for rent, in other words).

Local sources tell us that Lakeway City has approved an apartment complex at the corner of Serene Hills near 71.
Major 620 closures

RR 620 is going to be resurfaced from 71 up to Mansfield Dam states TxDOT - starting mid June. The work will involve mostly night work but also some daytime single lane closures. The contractor is Wheeler and knowledgeable local sources expect the work to last 3-4 weeks depending on the weather.
