Turnout in Saturday's election was lower than in most elections in Bee Cave - although it was the first election for several years. It was, however, on a par with 2009. 969 people voted - a turnout of about 32% - casting an average of just over two votes each. This year 52% of the voters live in Falconhead and Falconhead West, a far cry from 2004 when The Uplands held the largest single voting population. Almost 1 voter in 6 lives in an apartment.
