Lakeway Lexus moves forward - updated

Following unanimous recommendations from Lakeway's ZAPCO ( P&Z equivalent) Lakway City Council unanimously approved all of the new ordinances required to clear the way for Lexus of Austin to build at the intersection of 620 and Clara Van. With opposition to the dealership seemingly crumbling, the measures were expected to pass.

Big changes and lane/turn restrictions this weekend:
LCRA to raise rates - up to 19+%

The LCRA is looking to increase its area rates by as much as 19-20% in the next few months. The rates were discussed this week and covered in a recent announcemtn by the Chairman of the LCRA Board, Tomothy Timmerman.

Lakeway City and LTISD are working on plans to ensure smooth traffic flow around the new Middle School as it becomes obvious the road widening will not be complete for the late August opeining deadline.
