Highway 71 widening starts in December

TxDOT has confirmed it is starting work on widening Highway 71 from Hamilton Pool Road to Vail Divide (the entrance to Falconhead West) in December.
The project - which covers the controversial section where Nitro and the planned Covert dealership are located - will take 11 months to complete and will add a center turn lane.
