Xmas kick off at HCG

The Galleria Tree Lighting & Santa's Arrival event is on Thursday, November 19th from 6pm-8pm. There will be holiday activities, a visit by Santa, the lighting of the holiday tree, fireworks, and dancing to a special performance by the Plain White T's in the amphitheater.
Canyonside gets City go ahead

The 60+ home Canyonside development to the west of Vail Divide and north of Highway 71 received unanimous approval for its site plan and drainage systems.
Sing Along Christmas Show

Lakeway Sing Along will present their 13th annual family Christmas Show supporting the Green Santa Project on Sunday, December 6, at the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek in Lakeway. Price of admission is an unwrapped gift for a child up to age 16 to be distributed to needy area families at Christmastime.
Water limits raised for downstream farmers

At an open meeting on Wednesday, November 4, the Commissioners of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) voted 3-0 to grant the LCRA’s application to revise its Water Management Plan.
