The Bee Cave Bee

Hill Country Galleria is teaming up with the City of Bee Cave Parks to host Bicycles, Blues & Brews, in celebration of the city’s connectivity plan, an initiative to create hike and bike trails connecting residential neighborhoods to retailers in an effort to reduce traffic congestion and provide a safe and convenient alternative to driving.

The ultimate goal of the connectivity plan is to identify and develop an off-street network of pedestrian walkways, hiking trails and bicycle lanes that connect neighborhoods, existing parks, schools, retail developments like the Galleria, and other key locations throughout the city. With a trail network, the city hopes to increase transportation options, improve air quality, reduce roadway congestion, boost economic development, and help to connect citizens with their community.

EVENT DETAILS
Hill Country Galleria is teaming up with the City of Bee Cave Parks to host Bicycles, Blues & Brews, in celebration of the city’s initiative to create hike and bike trails connecting residential neighborhoods to retailers.

The event starts at the Central Plaza at 4 p.m. Guests can sing along to the blues as they enjoy beer tastings from local breweries like Treaty Oak Distilling, Vista Brewing, and Circle Brewing, and Bicycle Sport Shop Bee Cave and MOD Bikes will be on-site to offer test bike rides, showcase demos and talk to guests about bicycle safety.

City of Bee Cave Parks will be on-site to answer any questions and showcase the completed and soon-to-be-completed portions of the trails. Guests are encouraged to bring their bikes to enjoy riding in a vehicle free zone.
