The Lake Travis Independent School District and each of its campuses is currently experiencing difficulties with Yahoo email accounts. While some emails are sent, delivered and received as usual, many others are taking several days before delivery or before teachers and staff receive an auto- response message from Yahoo indicating that the email failed to be delivered.
Representatives with Yahoo have notified LTISD that they are aware of the issue and are working to resolve the problem. Unfortunately, no timeline for resolution has been provided.
LTISD sources state; "If you do not receive a reply to your email in a timely manner, you are encouraged to resend your message from a different email account. You may also contact teachers and staff by phone. You also have the option to change your email settings to an alternate account in the txConnect online grade book. Changing email addresses will help ensure that teacher correspondence sent from school is delivered in a timely manner.
