In last night's election results (Nov 7) , all four major area bond and bond related propositions on the ballot passed with strong majorities. Turnout was extremely low.
Homestead may turn down $4MM bridge - UPDATED

The current Travis County Bonds, if passed, contains $4MM to fix the flood troubled bridge at the entrance to the Homestead off 71 in Bee Cave.

City rezones 700+ acres

At this week's (Oct 24) meeting of Bee Cave City Council the zoning on two parcels of land owned by the City of Austin but inside the City's ETJ were changed to public - to prevent any future development.
Early voting starts today (Oct 23)

Early voting for Travis County (including the LTISD Bond) starts today (Monday October 23rd) and runs through Friday November 3rd. Voting Day itself is on Tuesday November 7th. Voting stations are listed HERE.Early voting is at Bee Cave City Hall and Randall's on 620.
