71 work heading to completion

With the end of the rain, it appears TxDOT is being true to their word on bringing an end to the delays opening Highway 71 from HPR to Vail Divide. They had repeatedly cliamed they needed two weeks of dry weather to complete the project.
Work is now proceeding apace (including some night work it is rumored) and the road should be open the week of June 8-12.
