In a video on their Facebook page, 620 Chick Fil A owner Daryll Zavodny has announced that after 14 years the location will shut for a few weeks from late July to late August or early September for a substantial remodel.

Their Press Release is attached:

"After being open for almost 14 years, Chick-fil-A’s Lake Travis location will close its doors in late July for approximately six weeks of renovations, bringing the chain’s newest restaurant design and other updates for an even more remarkable customer experience.

When Chick-fil-A Franchise Owner Darryl Zavodny opens the updated restaurant at 3600 Ranch Road 620 S. it will boast a vintage heritage interior design, larger dining room tables, and a newly designed centerline kitchen with increased capacity.

Customers on the go will find an updated drive-thru system with expanded face-to-face ordering, enhancing the chain’s award-winning drive-thru service.  Inside, guests will find premium finishes including subway tile and large windows as well as a large gathering table made from reclaimed wood, and a custom light fixture made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles. Other highlights include an updated two-story interactive indoor play area for children and free Wi-Fi.

Thousands of team members have served hundreds of thousands of guests since Lake Travis’ initial opening in 2004.  “I have served side by side with some amazing team members these last 14 years and plan to continue that tradition for many years to come,” says Zavodny. “While we are closed, we plan to give back to the Lake Travis community through various service projects and initiatives that enrich the lives around us and have a lasting positive impact.” Team members will also participate in training in order to continue providing exceptional service to Lake Travis patrons when the store reopens in September.

Born in Bethlehem, Pa., Zavodny spent most of his formative years in Charlotte, N.C. A graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a degree in marketing, he began his Chick-fil-A career working in marketing at the home office in Atlanta. Zavodny, his wife, Julie– a native Texan– and their three children moved to Austin almost 14 years ago to open the Lake Travis restaurant and look forward to growing with this community for decades to come.

Additional updates concerning the renovations and projected re-opening can be found on the restaurant’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CFA.LakeTravis/."
