City to address sports facility lights

After years of complaints about the bright lights at local sports facilities - especially the LTYA's Field of Dreams on Highway 71 - the City of Bee Cave has voted to hire a consultant to help them review and perhaps revise their ordinances.
At this week's meeting the Council voted positively on the issue although the Mayor stated:
“There are some grandfathering provisions that apply to lighting. Let’s just say, worst case scenario, it doesn’t apply [to the LTYA], at least it would give us something to talk to them about using our powers of personal persuasion.”
