Don't forget that COVERT will be sponsoring the zip line per the prior article in the Bee! Recommend if you attend that you boycott the zip line.

I heard that after the carnival they're going to use the zip line to string up a traffic light on 71. :-)

$30 to participate in a school carnival . . . Interesting.

I just hope that the organizers don't turn away any kids that can't afford the $30 wristband. That would not speak well for the community.

Does anyone want to join in transporting some underprivileged kids to the carnival this Saturday?

If you can't drive, please just meet us at the entrance with some cash to buy wristbands and support the PTO.

It amazes me that someone with grandchildren at the school would continue to be negative! This is about the children! NOT COVERT! Why don't u write a check?

If whoever wrote the last comment meant Linda Williams, I did not post on here. In fact, all I have ever said is that I find it interesting that Covert won't communicate with us but will use their money to buy goodwill in the school district. It's an observation. I'm happy the school is getting money from whatever source it can. I agree that this is about the children so let's just stop posting about this.

A zipline at a one day party is very insignificant compared to the traffic safety, noise pollution, etc in our community. Our kids have plenty and would not miss a zipline. As far as the woman with her grandchildren, if you are referring to the woman who made the comment on fb, I take great offense to that. She is my mother and is supportive of my children and all the programs and organizations in this community. She donated the majority of the jugs for the igloo the children will enjoy at our carnival.

Just repeating that I (Linda Williams) did NOT post boycotting the zipline. Also, I did donate jugs but not half. That would be a LOT of jugs. Ha! Thank you sweet daughter for supporting me. I hope the carnival is a HUGE success and that everyone enjoys ALL of the rides. I will always support our children and the schools no matter what. Enough said!
