Sales tax grows as property tax stays the same

September Sales Tax income (August collections) for Bee Cave is up 13% in a City that is bascially running on Sales Tax. That has enabled the City to renew it's record breaking low of 2 cents per $100 value.

At it's September 11th meeting Bee cave City Council onfirmed that the City Property Tax rate would remain at 2 cents per $100 value - one of the loest in the state.
Be Cave brings in over $10MM in Sales Tax (se story above) for ir popultaion of about 6, 000.

9/11 Stair Climb at HCG

Hill Country Galleria, will host and sponsor the annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in Bee Cave. Bee Cave Police, Lakeway Police, and Lake Travis Fire Rescue will climb the equivalent of 110 stories of the World Trade Center to pay tribute to the fallen FDNY firefighters of September 11.
HCG Saturday Concerts resume

Hill Country Galleria is hosting their signature Saturday Night Concert Series every Saturday in September and continuing into October with music starting at 7 p.m. in the Central Plaza. Guests can sit back, relax and enjoy this free event with family and friends. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs to lounge on the grassy lawn during the show and arrive early to shop and dine at Hill Country Galleria retailers and even get their meal delivered straight to the Central Plaza. Sun Radio 100.1FM will be on-site to emcee the event to introduce guests to the band.
