Accounting Clerk PT/FT

The Role:


Work closely with the Controller and CEO, and with assistance from the Customer
Service team. You'll work across multiple departments, handling a range of responsibilities as needed and assigned. You'll also have the opportunity to leverage your accounting knowledge and judgment to improve accounting processes and procedures and financial reporting.



 

Your responsibilities will include:


Accounts Payable:


*Setting up vendors, entering invoices, responding to vendor inquiries


*Preparing weekly payments


*Preparing weekly aging and payment reports



 

Accounts Receivable:


*Entering and reconciling customer payments


*Building relationships and following up on past due receivables


*Preparing weekly aging reports



 

Payroll & benefits:


*Processing and reviewing bi-monthly payroll & benefits


*Timesheet and PTO tracking

Month-end close:


*Reconciling bank accounts and corporate credit cards


*Preparing accrual entries


*Preparing balance sheet reconciliation reports



*Weekly Sales reports and other reports



*Other duties and special projects as requested by management



 

Requirements:


• Associate's degree or higher

• 3+ years of accounting experience (reconciliations, month-end close, AP/AR, etc.)

• QuickBooks and Excel experience
• 
Knowledge of payroll processing

• Experience working in a small business and ability to wear multiple hats

Compensation $18-$20 per hour

We will consider part time employment
