School lockdown turns out to be false alarm

A mid afternoon (Wednesday the 16th) 9-1-1 report talking of a man with a gun near Lake Travis Elementary prompted a full lock down of the entire LTISD school system. Multiple law enforcement agencies including SWAT attended and searched the area - finding nothing before the lock down was lifted after about an hour. Lake Travis Elementary and the neighbouring EDC campus were locked down longer than the other six schools in the district.
