Having ceased all food service on Feb 22nd, Rich Phillips (owner of Hill Country Golf and Guitar and Six String Grill) has announced that the beleaguered venue is up for sale at around $5MM for the land and facility.

 

 

The opening of the venue was beset by staffing and service problems and law suits from contractors claiming they has not been paid. The venue also received very mixed reviews for both its food and service on Yelp and similar sites.

 

Since November 2014 when the venue opened the owner claimed over 100,000 customers and over $1.2MM in revenue.
