The Hill Country Galleria has announced a ground breaking ceremony and celebration for the new Sonesta Bee Cave hotel on the grounds of the Galleria on Thursday, March 6th.

The public is invited to join in on the ground breaking ceremony at 6:00 p.m. at the Sonesta Bee Cave site located on the east side of the Galleria property, behind Dick’s Sporting Goods. Immediately following the ground breaking ceremony will be a celebration held in the Hill Country Galleria’s outdoor amphitheater. The Hot Texas Swing Band will perform live music from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., complimentary BBQ bites from Schmidt Family Barbecue will be provided while they last, and a spectacular firework show will end the evening.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the concert and fireworks. Each guest will receive a Sonesta Hotel swag bag while supplies last.

Sonesta Bee Cave will consist of a 6 story hotel, 200 guest rooms, 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and public areas such as a swimming pool, lounge, and rooftop bar. The 15 month build is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2015.
