BSW buys Vibra

 

Baylor, Scott and White, who now own the Hospital on 620 have just announced their purchase of the Vibra Rahab facility behing the new HEB in Lakeway.

 

 

Partners Baylor Scott & White Health and Select Medical acquired Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Lake Travis, a 36-bed, inpatient rehabilitation hospital in the Austin suburb of Lakeway, TX. The facility, which was acquired from Welltower of Toledo, OH, will operate under the name Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation – Lakeway.  The buy is the joint venture’s first foray into Central Texas.
The just-acquired property at 2000 Medical Dr. began life as a medical building until 2014, when Vibra Healthcare of Pennsylvania leased it.

 


Baylor Scott & White operates more than 20 clinics in Travis and Williamson Counties, and its newest medical centers are currently being built in Pflugerville and Buda, TX. Select Medical is one of the nation’s largest providers of specialized post-acute care. The joint venture owns 66 outpatient rehabilitation clinics, three inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health rehabilitation services.
