Lake Travis defeated Humble Atascocita today 41 to 16. Lake Travis next plays Dallas Jesuit on Saturday, November 30th at 2 p.m. in Waco. Westlake Chaps lost 41 -16.

In their on-line newsletter, Lakeway Elementary School has recognized Covert Cadillac for sponsoring the Avalanche Zipline at the school's Fall Carnival on December 14. Some Lakeway students live In Falconhead in Bee Cave - embroiled in the dispute with the Covert family over a proposed dealership on 71 in Bee Cave's ETJ.

Texas Commissioner of Education Michael Williams has announced that the Lake Travis Independent School District is one of 14 Texas school districts out of 1,030 districts to be honored by the College Board with placement on its 4th Annual AP® District Honor Roll.

LTHS Cavs narrowly beat arch rivals Westlake 28-27 after a disappointing start last night. At the half they were 17-14 down. LTHS wins the District and advance to the State finals in this, their second year as a 5A team.
