Place 6 on the LTISD Board is up for election in the May 10th elections - early voting for which starts Monday the 28th.

Local education activist David Lovelace is standing for the seat versus William Beard. Lovelace is famous for his large volume open records requests and has filed almost 5,000 document requests in the last 9 years which, opponents claim, have cost the LTISD over $1 million.
