This update on the Bee Creek Road widening project (near the new Middle School) from LTISD:

Travis County officials briefed area residents on the status of the Bee Creek Road Widening Project at a community meeting held November 14 at the Rough Hollow Pavilion. 

Representatives from the project contractor, Chasco Constructors, were also present at the open house and shared information about the construction process and schedule.  Safety and mobility improvements will be made along a one-mile stretch of Bee Creek Road, from State Highway 71 to Highlands Boulevard.  The $9 million project is being funded by the Travis County Road Bond.  Construction of the New Lake Travis Middle School off Highway 71 and Bee Creek Road is approximately 50 percent complete.
