Derailers playing Spicewood Vineyard

Austin favorites the Derailers open the 2016-17 concert season of the Spicewood Arts Society at 7 p.m. September 30 at the Spicewood Vineyards Event Center.

The Derailers mix classic country with a 60’s pop sensibility to produce highly danceable music, appreciated by their fans throughout the South.  They’re weekly regulars at the Broken Spoke, but also have appearances this fall in Arkansas, Georgia and Tennessee.

Ray Benson, from Asleep at the Wheel, called the Derailers  “one of the keepers of Buck Owens style country music and rockabilly, dating back to the mid 90’s.”

The concert is the first of the Spicewood Arts Society’s regular season and is included in season tickets.  The Spicewood Vineyards Event Center is at 1419 Co. Rd. 409, Spicewood, TX. Tickets include light refreshments at intermission. Wine is available for purchase.

Individual tickets to regular season concerts are $50 each. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite boots.
