TCSO has found 3 credit card skimming devices on gas stations in the Highway 71 corridor. Th eprobel has been common for some time in the Dripping Springs area but this development is new.

They inspected 60 gas stations total in the area and found none. The three were found later by station owners and staff who had been trained on what to look out for.

Residents are advised to look out for loose or odd looking card slots and to avoid using Debit Cards at gas stations as that could lead to attacks on bank accounts.
