City annexing more land

At it's September 8th meeting, Bee Cave City Council started the process of annexing over 500 acres of surrounding land.

 

The parcels were defined as:

  • 149.269 acres generally located North and South of FM 2244 and East of current City Limits.  This is on the NW side of Lake Point and Lake Hills Church, spanning both sides of 2244 (Bee Cave Rd.)
  • 24.622 acres generally located South of Hwy 71W and Southeast of the Shops at the Galleria.  This property is east and south of Lowes.
  • 8.043 acres generally located North of Hwy 71W and West of Bee Cave Pkwy.  This is also known locally as the Spillman Tract.
  • 32.665 acres generally located South of Hwy 71W and East of Great Divide Dr.  This is the Mockford tract adjacent to The Homestead.
  • 300.016 acres generally located South of HPR and Southeast of current city limits.  this tract of land is along Hwy 71 and was previously owned by City of Austin.
