One local Barbeque joint - Opie's in Spicewood - made it into Texas Monthly's highly recognized Top 50 list this year. The Ashmore's have built a reutation for well prepared meats, especially ribs and their sides also rated highly. Opie's is about 10 minutes West of Bee Cave on Highway 71.
