In a campaign spearheaded by Kara King through her Facebook page local citizens have finally received an update on the completiong of the Highway 71 from TXDot.

Area Engineer Victor Vargas explained to one citizen that they need 2 weeks of sunshine to finish the final thin coat pavement layer and apply the striping.
