Starting this Thursday, November. 27, 2014, the Bee Cave Police Department, along with local area law enforcement agencies will focus on “Arrive Alive Central Texas “ the home for the holidays traffic safety initiative that targets aggressive driving and focuses on allowing family members to prepare for the upcoming holidays by arriving at their destinations safely.

The Bee Cave Police Departments mission is to increase the visibility of patrol officers and target dangerous driving behavior that traditionally occurs during the holiday period. Chief Miller’s goal is to make the highways and roadways in Bee Cave safer this holiday season and to hopefully reduce the number of accidents in this area. There will be a marked increase in officers assigned to the highways and roadways this weekend to ticket these aggressive or dangerous drivers. Please drive safely and courteously.
