Hatchet tract decision deferred

At its September 18th meeting the WTCPUA Board deferred making a decision on the new Hatchett development proposal down Hamilton Pool Road for two months..

The revised plan to build 700 units on under 500 acres at the Destiny Hills end of the Hatchett tract does not - in theory - require the massive connection of the 71 and 290 branches of the water system but the Board has called for a revised engineering study.

The key issues remain the capacity available to serve the new homes and how the cost of providing service will be borne by the new customers, not existing ones.
