A house fire in the 9100 block of Sisk Lane off Hamilton Pool Road saw a swift and substantial response from Travis and Hays County Fire Departments with assistance from Oak Hill and Austin.

The unoccupied house was destroyed in the fire which also spread to surrounding dry tinder and threatened to spread. Containment was achieved quickly and checked by Starflight. Fifteen or more fire trucks attended.

A burn ban is now back in effect for Travis County.
