The Board of Managers of Lakeway Regional Medical Center (LRMC) has announced that Susan MacLeod, FACHE, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer for the hospital.

Ms. MacLeod brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience to LRMC with strengths in strategic leadership, business development, physician relationships and project management. Her depth of knowledge in healthcare markets, executive leadership, and focus on providing quality patient care is in keeping with the mission and vision of the hospital.

“We are very excited to have Susan MacLeod join the LRMC team,” states Dr. Eckert, LRMC Board Member. “The fact that she is an Austin resident and she has a very strong background in physician relationships showed me that she was the best fit for this hospital. We couldn’t be happier to welcome her to the community.”
In the last decade, Ms. MacLeod has had numerous senior leadership positions including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operational Officer roles. MacLeod states that she sees the hospital as continuing to be a “viable part of the community and that we will continue to provide the highest quality of care and strive for excellent patient outcomes.”
