Saturday August 9th, Alex Torres and The Cigar Room will be celebrating their 6th anniversary, Hawaiian style with a luau and pig roast. A native Texan who learned to roll and blend cigars from family friends, Alex became a certified tobacconist transforming a hobby into Austin’s premier cigar club/lounge, which has the Largest and Widest selection of Scotch, Bourbon and Whiskey west of the Colorado River. His homegrown brand Torres Cigars satisfy aficionados and amateurs with blends that range from mild and mellow to stout and peppery including flavor infused specialties.
 
“The customers are why I do this!” In appreciation for all the folks who have kept the dream alive, Alex is throwing a luau to commemorate another successful year. It’s pig roasting time. So, come check out the new lounge and gaming area (Xbox 360 Games: Halo, Tiger Woods, NASCAR, etc.) while enjoying some Free Hog! The evening’s celebration will be accompanied by live music (4p -8p) and Open Mic with Brandon Pierce from 8 p.m. till midnight. The party goes from noon till whenever the festivities stop with drink specials –ALL NIGHT LONG
