News has reached us that the WTCPUA is to vote once again on rescinding the Service Availability letter for the highly contentious Masonwood West development on Hamilton Pool Road.

Against a background of alleged misrepresentations by the developer and the threat of legal action against the PUA and its Board, a full quorum of the Board is expected to vote once more on the motion which failed to pass at this month's meeting.

Despite a large but waning number of local "protesters" attending in December (compared to previous meetings), a detailed presentation made by PUA Board member and Bee Cave City Council member Bill Goodwin looked set to overturn the supply offer made in November. But detailed legal threats by the developer seemed to sway two other board members to refuse to vote for the rescission. More details HERE.
