Lakeway Regional Medical Center would appear to be the target of a bid from a Houston based company. Donald Sapaugh, president of University General Health System is quoted in local press as holding talks with LRMC - which has been plagued with rumors of financial instability since it opened in April of last year. We have sought comment from LRMC on the matter.
