With the final deadline one hour before City Council's special meeting at 6pm on Thursday the 19th, five people have already volunteered to take the vacant seat left when Paul Kline resigned last week.

They are:

• Bill Goodwin (Homestead)
• Rich Schmitt (Falconhead West)
• Marie Lowman (Uplands)
• Jeff McManus
• Bruce Schwaegel

At the meeting the Board will appoint one replacement Council Member to serve until a Special Election can be held in May 2014.
