Videoconferencing for City? - updated

The August 27th Bee Cave City Council meeting has on its Agenda a new item related to allowing Council members to attend meetings remotely - including by video conference technology. The item, originally rumored to have been placed on the agenda by Councilman Kline but now confirmed to have been placed by City staff, refers to Texas House Bill 2414 which relates to such use by government bodies. Councilman Kline has had past attendance issues with City Council and has previously proposed changing the meeting day and possibly using videoconferencing as a solution.
