Despite numerous news stories that Travis County and TXDoT are working on widening Hamilton Pool Road from 71 to Route 12 to add an center turn lane and six foot shoulders, TxDOT's own strategy survey makes no mention of it.

 

 

The survey HERE only mentions work from Route 12 to the Pedernales as shown on the detailed map above.
