As part of its plan to solve the low water crossing issue at The Homestead in Bee Cave, the City is entering into negotiations to do an "annexation trade" to enable them to take control of the land at the front of the development.

The City continues to face considerable oppositon from Homestead residents over the need for a bridge to keep the entry open on wet weather.
