Four people have announced they intentions regarding the Bee Cave City Council elections in May - when three seats are up for grabs.

Standing:

  • Kara King - Incumbent
  • Andrew Clark - Incumbent
  • Andrea Willott - P & Z Commissioner

Not standing:

  • Marie Lowman, Incumbent

She stated on her Facebook page:

"I am writing to share the news that I will not be seeking re-election for Bee Cave City Council.

Serving as a commissioner for 5.5 years and a council member for the last 5 years has been an absolute privilege. I have learned a tremendous amount serving in this capacity. I have learned patience & understanding, honed my ability to listen to all sides of an issue objectively, and to really think before speaking. I am a better person for having been given the privilege of serving. Thank you.

I encourage anyone even considering being more involved with our city to jump in! The more engagement we have, the better our entire city will be. We are so fortunate to live where we do, I am grateful for my predecessors and all the City Staff, BCPD, PNZ and Council Members who have sacrificed their time to serve the City of Bee Cave and make it the amazing community it is. Thank you"
