Harvey aftermath

Here is a random summary of some of the stories we've picked up on this week - in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

Area rain totals seem to have averaged about 7 inches over the week and there are no reports of flooding or damage in our immediate area. Most low water crossings are open again in our area. East Austin remains flooded until the rivers subside.

Relief efforts are still building up - with mixed advice on whether to actually go to the affected areas or donate through centralized resources.

Local Gas Stations are reported to be low or out of gas (sometimes just certain grades) and this is expected to continue for a few days until the refineries come back online.
