King and Parker to stand again

Two of the three candidates whose term expires this summer have now announced they are standing again in May.

Kara King's announcement on Facebook reads:

"I am excited to announce that I WILL be seeking re-election for my seat, for my term ends this May. Filing begins next week (details listed on my council updates post on this page.) I thoroughly enjoy representing the citizens of Bee Cave on council, I enjoy the hard work and I enjoy communicating our actions and happenings to the Greater Lake Travis area. I would appreciate very much your support in my bid for re-election."

And Monty Parker's (also on Facebook) states:

"I am announcing that I will be filing next week in an effort to be re-elected to the Bee Cave City Council. I hope you feel I have represented you well enough to deserve another term, and humbly ask for your support when it comes time to vote. I have enjoyed my first term as your council member! Using my business experience from years past to represent our citizens in a manner that would make everyone proud of our city has achieved positive results in my opinion, but our city has many issues to deal with in the months ahead, some of them I would classify as major. I hope you allow me to return and continue the work that we've started. I request your support and your votes in May. Thank you!".
