TCEQ has fined the WTCPUA $10,000 for a 2016 waste spill.

In May of 2016 the main tanks behind the Galleria released almost 2 million gallons of treated wastewater - into land that is part of the Balcone Preserve.

$2,000 of the fine has been deferred pending improved compliance by the WTCPUA
