Hat Trick Development plans to build a medical office building with the lead occupant, Hill Country Apothecary, to launch a new wellness center.
 

Located on a 2.1-acre site off the northwest corner of RM 620 and State Highway 71, space in a 23,000-square-foot project called the Medical Towers at Bee Cave has already attracted Alive and Well wellness center, Lone Star Podiatry (Dr. Andrew Cassidy DPM, MS) and River City Docs (Dr. Frosty D.R. Moore and his son Dr. Grayson A. Moore).
 
The lead tenant, Alive and Well, will occupy 8,000 square dedicated to a comprehensive wellness epicenter. Alive and Well’s owner is Adam Metcalf, Pharm D., creator of Hill Country Apothecary, a Lakeway-based compounding pharmacy.
 
Alive and Well will feature a meditative indoor wellness garden, yoga/wellness classes and therapeutic services such as three-wave infrared saunas, ionic foot baths, float tanks and an IV vitamin bar. The center will also offer wellness seminars, nutrition consultations and massage and acupuncture services.  Our guests can further their relaxation afterwards in our coffee and tincture bar with a specialty coffee and a quick healthy organic lunch. An integrative doctor will be practicing to guide the community on the wellness center's integrative approach, which will focus on healing-oriented medicine that takes account of the whole person (body, mind, and spirit), including all aspects of lifestyle. The approach coalesces with both conventional and alternative therapies, making use of the best of both worlds.
 
“People are looking for more than the conventional approach of the 15 minutes they get with a doctor that many times doesn't result in long-term wellness. Because of that, they’re taking charge of their own well-being,” said Metcalf, owner of Alive and Well. “But people get overwhelmed with the volume of information that’s out there, or how to find real solutions to their health needs. We aim to be a single-source that helps people cut through the noise and find legitimate, custom solutions. We want to get to the root of the issue.”
 
Site work is nearly complete, with building construction anticipated to start in mid-September. Construction is anticipated to take no more than a year. H+sp (formerly Schneider Halls Design) has been selected as the project’s architect, while LIA Engineering has been tapped as the engineering firm. Structura Inc. is the contractor for the project.
