Uplands elections and new look entrance

This week The Uplands unveiled a new, cleaner look for its main entrance at Tennison Hill.
Landscape Committee chair Randi Mackey and incumbent first VP Wayne Rimkus are two of the candidates in a five way race for three seats on the HOA Board at the March 30th AGM to be held at Lake Pointe Community Center at 7pm. Other candidates are Bruce Milne, Carl Frenkel and Pete van Veldhuisen.
Key issues in this year's election are deed restriction enforcement and a campaign by Bee Cave Mayor Pro Tem and local realtor Jack McCool to have the Uplands HOA take over the cost of maintaining drainage ponds and other infrastructure on individual homeowner lots - including one for which he is the selling agent.
