School Bond Passes

Yesterday's election saw the $158MM LTISD Bond pass with a 57%:43% majority. The Bond will increase local taxes by almost 10 cents per thousand dollar value which will impact the average $400,000 area home's tax bill by just under $300 per year. Roughly 2,200 votes were cast early with about 4,100 on the day - the majority of the latter voting 53% against the Bond.
