NCL Chapter for Lake Travis?
The National Charity League (NCL) is starting a new chapter in Austin! - and local supporters are hoping for one in the Lake Travis area.
NCL is the oldest and largest mother-daughter volunteer organization in the nation with 160 chapters and over 40,000 members. The mission of NCL is to strengthen the bond between mothers and daughters through philanthropic community service, leadership development and cultural experiences. To be eligible for membership daughters must be entering 7th-11th grade next year. The first year of a new chapter is the only time that daughters older than incoming 7th graders can join, so this is a great opportunity for the older girls!
The response has been so tremendous that the venue for the ONLY formational meeting has changed to Hope Presbyterian Church, 11512 Olson Dr., Austin, just east of 620 on Anderson Mill. The time is still Wednesday, March 27th at 7 p.m. The meeting is for mothers only.
RSVP regrets only to Erin Journigan at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to retain eligibility for the new chapter, if you cannot make the meeting. Make sure you let her know you are from the Lake Travis area! The more mothers we have at the meeting, the greater the chance will be that Lake Travis will get its own chapter!
Please feel free to email local resident, Heather Cadenhead, with questions:
