After being out of town, returning home this past Monday eve, several sirens went up Hamilton Pool Road, my roof sounded like it was being 'taken off' by Star Flight, then starting the next day, Tuesday thru yesterday, Friday, many, many sirens went up HPR 2-3 each day on different occasions. Not just a few sirens each time, but many. Of course, with any thing else happening on HPR, the residents will never hear/know/see anything of what is happening. HPR could have a 'killer' running loose and/or just a minor happening, and we, on HPR, will never hear of it in the Austin paper, LT View, the TV News ~ nuttin' anywhere! THIS proves to me, as we already knew, HPR is the 'step child' when getting any permanent services! Blame it on low budgets/low revenue/or whatever ~ Isn't it time that the 2 lane HPR w/an Xplosion of growth over the past few years and still 'Xploding' be served as all other areas? WHY not give us the permanent emergency services we should of had 10+ years ago when a bond was floated for 4 sites, the bond passed, the Steiner Ranch did get their along w/the other 2 of 4 voted in. Guess what? HPR never did get their emergency station as voted in by that bond soooo many years ago! Guess HPR will always be the step-child to Travis County? WHERE is Gerald Daughtery when you need him? ~ ha-ha ~ ~ ~
