County bans flying fireworks

Travis County drought conditions and the associated fire risk have led to the ban on sale or use of certain fireworks - missiles with fins and skyrockets with sticks - county wide. Firework sales and use are allowed in unincorporated Travis County for the Dec 20- Jan 1 "season" - but their use is banned in most area Cities and many HOA controlled developments.
