Yesterday a minor miracle took place at the soon to close Living Desert store on Highway 71. A motorist - whose wife was in the middle of unexpectedly giving birth - stopped in their parking lot for help. A staff member not only assisted in the birth but also rendered help to the newborn, removing a mucus plug and allowing it to breathe. The store is in the midst of it 50% off closing down sale and is the proposed site of the City contested Kwik Kar operation.

  Good news and lucky everything turned out ok. Have to note that there is a fabulous St David's Emergency Center practically across the street from the Living Desert store. ;-)
