Park not good enough for Bee Cave dogs
Bee Cave residents are pushing hard for the City Council to spend $2-4,000 on anew dog park in the southeast corner of Central Park, saying that the existing facility is too muddy. Council members appear lukewarm on the idea although City management does concede there is an issue. City sales tax receipts showed signs of reduced growth last month suggesting budgets may become tighter as the planning cycle continues.

They certainly have plenty of money from it. I live on Hamilton Pool Road and got a ticket my first time using it. It was dark and I never noticed the 45 mph sign. Strange that my road is 55, and it's a dangerous 2 lane road, but the extension is 4 lane with no development on it, and it's 45. Even more annoying were two things. 1. The officer could have given warnings the first few days it was open while people people familiarized themselves with the road. 2. He should stop saying that I should slow down and be safe as I was going 55, the limit on HP Rd, which is the dangerous one of the two. Bee Cave ticket policy - Gotta love it!

2013-01-26 16:47:04 | Mike - Dog ParkHuge Flaw in the story line is that the group approaching the Council last month were overwhelmingly NOT Bee Cave residents. The current "Leash Free" area IS a required stormwater retention pond with a secondary purpose as a "Dog Park". When it is full of water or very muddy, exercise some personal responsibility and judgment before freeing Fluffy to do its thing. There was little to no outcry from citizens for a dog park when the Central Park was in the planning and construction phase.

They must have gotten poison ivy hiding in the bushes so now they're racking up the dough on the extension.
Why would they give warnings? They're revenue generating robots.
And of course there are no quotas for the police in BeeCave.
Like any employer, the BCPD pays there employees regardless of their job performance.... Lol!
